WE ARE NOA.
THE NEURO-ONCOLOGY
WORKING GROUP
IN THE DKG.

WELCOME
The Neuro-oncological Working Group (in short NOA) in the German Cancer Society (Deutsche Krebsgesellschaft e. V.) is a working group consisting of over 300 members from the main disciplines of neurology, neurosurgery, radiotherapy, neuropathology, neuroradiology and medical oncology. Additionally, biostatisticians, computer scientists, neuropsychologists and some pediatric oncologists are also represented. It bundles information from the field of neuro-oncology and provides information about events and trials. Guidelines and study protocols are also provided.
OUR STUDIES

One of the key tasks of the NOA is to promote clinical and experimental neuro-oncology as a subdiscipline of neuroscience and oncology.
At the annual NOA meetings, all ongoing and planned NOA studies are presented and discussed. Active and interested study centers are thereby encouraged to participate in NOA studies, supporting time- and resource-efficient recruitment.
