DIVINE.
DIVERSITY IN
NEURO-ONCOLOGY.
WELCOME TO:
DivINe in NOA advocates for equal opportunities in neuro-oncology – in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It wants to empower women to achieve their individual career goals in neuro-oncology.
DIVINE INTRODUCES
ITSELF
Women are rarely represented in visible leadership positions in neuro-oncology specialties and professional societies. At the same time, almost two-thirds of first-year students in the subjects of human medicine and in medicine-related courses of study are female – so it is evident that existing potential is not yet being sufficiently exploited.
Founded out of this need at the end of 2020, DivINe offers a protected space for professional and personal exchange.
The members of DivINe represent interdisciplinary expertise in neuro-oncology. The network intensifies the dialogue between practitioners, scientists and industry.
Since the 22nd annual NOA meeting in March 2021, DivINe is an officially recognized commission of the NOA with representation of the speaker on the scientific advisory board. DivINe also strives to cooperate with professional societies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as with European (EANO Disparity) and American networks (SNO Women & Diversity).
