The award is primarily intended for younger scientists who have already contributed through outstanding achievements to the understanding of tumor pathomechanisms or to new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in the past three years, or who are working on corresponding projects in the clinical field or in basic research. In addition to applications from laboratory research, those from clinical research and palliative medicine are also welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Sibylle Assmus Award is endowed with 10,000 \u20ac.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications will be accepted from November 1, 2021. The proposal should be formulated along the lines of DFG proposals but should not exceed 6 pages.
